Enjoyed this play-through and like the look of the mutagen cards. Automa look slightly overpowered though - doesn’t seem fair automa can raising attributes above level. Will still look to download 😊

Thank you for doing this solo mode. I have a question though: What was the motivation to have the automa row of cards "open"? In a multiplayer game, you don't see the hands of the other players and you can only interact with the cards in the clearing. In this solo mode, you sort of have two rows of cards which you can "work" with as the automa always plays and discards cards "from the left" of its hand, so you could see and anticipate which cards will come up from the automa to the clearing row in the next turn(s). Does this not give you too much control/information over the cards? Will a game with a face down automa hand work? You would only flip/reveal a card if the automa wants to perform the "play card" action.

I have been looking at this game for years but the negative reviews always turned me away. After watching your three videos, I went out and bought it instantly. I rate it as one of the best solo games I’ve played. Thank you for putting this together.

Oh no, it looks like at the beginning, you were so excited from drawing Steward of Gondor from Daeron's Runes that you forgot to discard a card to Daeron's Runes! But I love how chill this series is.

Thank you so much for creating the solo automa. The solo mode that came with the game is difficult to beat and not much fun to play. Because of that I've been playing 2 handed, but now will be solo again thanks to your automa.

Greetings - this is amazing. My gob is completely smacked with the time, effort and fiddling around that you must have done to put this together . I've played 4 times now and losing baldly. 132 vs 92 I do play trying to maximize Automa score - so I've beaten myself repeatedly. My current feeling is that the Animal Refuge is a bit overpowered - gives 19 points on completion and lots of terrain tiles - giving Automa - whom I've named Wodger of the Wokkies - an advantage on scoring terrain. I 'll keep at it though.

Finally playing this. So even on the very first turn if I end up with a lower ambulance before the “improvement step” will I become the first player right then? Or does automa get a full turn as first player?

I think you may have a rule wrong. When fighting a monster the rulebook says that you have to have at least 1 card left in hand in order to win against a monster.

Does the automa have to end its move on the weakness token or does the token just have to be on the route for it to be taken by the automa?

A digital version of this automa would be great…;)

Thanks, hope this is as good as the one I just came up with today on top of my head.👇 Why not have a deck of cards where all the different cube placements are listed on each card for AI?💡 So on AI turn you draw a resources card as in solo mode then you draw one card from the AI placement deck (that may say: Place a cube in square 2 across, 3 down) and they place the cube for AI in that square. If space is occupied with a cube, place the card at the bottom on the deck then get a new card If space is occupied with building then discard the placement card entirely from that game. If this courses the AI to not build at lot of building then you can draw 2 resource card and pick the most useful resource card for AI to plac in current placement that turn or instead draw 2 placement card and pick the the one that will best help AI to build what it can fit the random resource. That may help make the AI seem less randomly built less building by slightly controlling the AI as Semy controlling 2nd playing Thanks, anyone who wants to try my idea I just reasonly thought of but not created PnP copy or physical proto type AI cub placement deck then be my guest but send by the results. Thanks 😇

Splendor Duel seems to be quite a bit more interesting than base Splendor, but I wish I didn't have to make a BGG account to grab your automa... still, thanks for making it, though.
